International Plastic Free Day
Make Every Day Earth Plastic Free Day
International Plastic Bag Free Day, celebrated on 3rd July is a global initiative that aims to eliminate the use of plastic bags. Plastic bags may seem like a grocery shopping convenience, but they are also a huge strain on the environment. It can take up to 500 years for plastic bags to disintegrate, so they make up a large portion of what stays in our landfills and pollutes our waterways.
Young Meridians want to share the message through their small step by replacing plastic with cloth and paper recyclable bags.
Say no to plastic bag
It's high to stop the usage of plastic bags.
International plastic bag free day was started by "Zero waste Europe " to create awareness across the world to spread the hazardousness of single usage of plastic bags
