National Doctors Day

Medicines can cure, but a good doctor’s inspirational words can give the strength to fight from within.

“An apple a day keeps the doctor away".
The essence of doctors, as well as the health care staff, has been brought to the limelight in this crucially challenging phase of COVID-19. Hence as a manifestation of gratitude, 1st July is dedicated to the celebration of 'National Doctors' Day', which is organised by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) annually.

The day was first commemorated in the year 1991 to honour the former Chief Minister of Bengal, Dr B.C. Roy in order to acknowledge his contribution is serving humanity. Our young meridians of Grade 3 to 5 students participated in the Competition with utmost exuberance and had hands-on experience on National Doctors' Day.

Students of Grade 6 had done the activity to understand the method of weaving fibres with help of papers. The activity helped them to have hands-on experience to weave fibers for making fabric.

Keeping the theme for this year Family Doctor's on the Front Line Parent Involvement program was arranged at Meridian, Uppal.

We provides universal access to the world’s best education, partnering with top universities and make with top students with great result.
