Which syllabus does your school follow?

The school is affiliated to CBSE board and has produced excellent results since inception. From Nursery to class V we follow the IB framework as we are an IB authorized school.

How have the school results been in the past few years?

100% pass results at class X and XII - share result sheet with parents

Can you mention a few achievements of students at the state and national level competitions?

Many Gold, Silver, Bronze medals at State level and students are participating at CBSE Nationals in Table Tennis and Taekwondo this year. In Chess and Table Tennis students have secured National and International ranking. (school specific achievements to be shared with parents)

Do you also offer the Senior Secondary?

Yes, we offer MPC, BiPC and Commerce streams with various optional subject like Economics, Psychology, Mass Media, Legal Studies, Physical Education, Computer Science, Marketing and Entrepreneurship. (school specific)

What is the criteria for admission into Senior Secondary for a Meridian student?

We look at the overall performance of the student, his/her behaviour, performance in co-curricular activities and grant admission. For the Science group 80% and above is required where as for the Commerce group it is 70% and above. (However admissions are granted to the discretion of the Principal/ VP)

Does the school have any tie ups with coaching centers for common entrances?

Yes. SAT coaching, FIITJEE for IIT JEE (for Engineering and Medicine twice a week during school hours) For Chartered Accountancy- CIMA coaching, CLAT coaching. (after school) (school specific)

What type of projects are given to the students?

Individual and group projects that are multi-disciplinary are given. All projects are done mostly during school hours and students only collect pictures and required information and bring it to school to complete the project. Focus is on research based projects.

Does the school have counsellors and special educators?

Yes. Trained counsellors and special educators take special care of students. Appropriate Assessments are conducted and strategies are devised to enhance learning based on student requirement. They also conduct sessions for the parents on an ongoing basis.

How is the standard of education consistent in all the branches?

We will start the Day care facility depending on the number of enquiries. Please fill the request form and we will get back to you.

If a Pre-Primary child opts for the After School Club program, what are the activities offered?

The Macro and micro planners are shared across branches. Standardized lesson plans ensure consistent quality. The quality of assessment is also monitored by the heads of departments. Teacher training is also executed across branches.

Assessments FAQ'S

How are students assessed at the Pre-Primary level?

The students are observed on a daily basis and their skills are assessed informally. Various tools of assessment are used to give holistic feedback about the child’s performance.

How are students assessed at the Primary level?

Grade I to V students are assessed periodically after every Unit of Inquiry (UOI). The frequency of assessment is bimonthly. Multiple skills are also evaluated in an informal manner. (school specific)

How many academic terms are there in a year?

There are two terms in an academic year.

How is school fee collected?

We have three terms for fee payment. Fee is to be paid before 1st April, 1st August and 1st December. Fee can be paid online, through cheque, Debit card, Credit card or cash at the school fee counter. Transport fee must be paid by 1st April and 1st October.

What are the special provisions granted by CBSE for students with special needs?

The CBSE permits provision for change of subjects, deletion of second language, Scribe and extra time facility depending on the profile of the candidate. Please contact Principal for details.

How does the school communicate the performance of students to parents?

Reports can be accessed through the school ERP the Digital Campus. PTMs are conducted as per the dates mentioned in the academic planner. Parent can access information through Parentzapp by the Parent Login provided.

What are the initiatives taken by the school to improve the performance of the students?

Personalized teaching, remediation, After school support etc.
